Jani-Mikael Kuusisto
CEO
Jani-Mikael Kuusisto, CEO of ynvisible, is a seasoned business development professional at the cross-sections of the physical and digital worlds. With over 15 years of experience in the field of printed electronics, Jani-Mikael has built extensive networks to customers, suppliers and researchers in the field - particularly related to Consumer Packaged Goods, IoT, and wearables applications. Jani-Mikael was first hired by ynvisible in 2011 as its Chief Business Development Officer, and has been appointed CEO of the company with the closing of the RTO transaction with Ynvisible Interactive Inc. in January 2018.
Carlos Pinheiro
CTO
Carlos is ynvisible's CTO. Carlos' PhD thesis was a crucial piece in the development of ynvisible’s electrochromic display technology. He is responsible for the technical content of ynvisible’s patent portfolio. He also leads all the scientific and technical activities and developments within ynvisible. Carlos has a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the New University of Lisbon.
Inês Henriques
COO
Inês Henriques is a co-founder and COO of ynvisible. She was CEO of ynvisible from the creation of the company to the closing of the RTO transaction with Ynvisible Interactive Inc. in January 2018. Inês led the founding of the company, designed the organization of the new commercial entity, was responsible for building a highly competent team and has also been actively involved in the development of the company’s core IP portfolio, and in establishing ynvisible’s first manufacturing partnership and wider partner networks. She currently leads operations. Inês has a degree in Environmental Engineering from the New University of Lisbon and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Harry Glynn
Investor Relations Manager
Harry has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in business management from the University of British Columbia. Harry has a passion for business development and technology, and how we can use both to change the world for the better. Prior to joining ynvisible, Harry had several years of experience working with tech startups, focusing on growth, marketing, and operations.
Jarno Vehmas
Head of Design
Jarno has 18 years of experience in designing products in the field of printed electronics and printed intelligence, and dealing with a wide range of clients and technologies. Jarno is building ynvisible’s design team and tools, plus he heads client design interfaces. He has both a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Industrial Design from the University of Lapland.
Lúcia Gomes
Project Manager
Lúcia has a degree in Materials Engineering from the New University of Lisbon and has worked at the Center of Excellence in Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Processes (CEMOP), on the production and development of thin films using different techniques. She has also worked in the solar industry, developing new products at an amorphous silicon-based photovoltaic panel company. Lúcia is currently a project manager at ynvisible.
Rúben Ferreira
Project Development Specialist
Rúben has a degree in Applied Chemistry and an MSc in Bioorganic Chemistry from the New University of Lisbon. Before joining ynvisible, Rúben worked in several projects with the Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry Group from the New University of Lisbon.
Carlos Neto
Electronics Technician
Carlos Neto has a Medical Electronics degree and has previously worked in the automotive industry, as a specialized car painter. As a DIY enthusiast and maker, Carlos also has previous experience with small SMD technology. Carlos works as an electronics technician at ynvisible.
Mikko Keranen
Production Engineering Manager
Mikko is responsible for scaling up ynvisible’s production processes and transfer of production technology to clients and manufacturing partners. Prior to joining ynvisible, Mikko worked nearly 18 years at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. on numerous printed intelligence developments, taking novel printable technologies and processes from lab scale to industrial production, often times in a production managerial role. Mikko has an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Oulu, and he is a certified project manager (IPMA-C).
Aida Branco
Senior Production Specialist
Before joining ynvisible, Aida worked with the Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry Group from the New University of Lisbon, where she studied the electrochemical characterization of chromogenic materials. Aida has a degree in Chemistry and an MSc in Analytical Chemistry & Quality Control from the University of Aveiro. She is the author of several articles and a patent on chromogenic materials.
Wilson Barbeiro
Production Specialist
Wilson has a degree in Graphic Arts and Technology Design from Tomar Polytechnic Institute. Before joining ynvisible, Wilson worked as an Offset Printing Technician at a print house specializing in packaging. As an Offset Printing Technician, Wilson participated in Euroskills, where he won a silver medal representing Portugal.
Marlene Santos
Office Manager
Marlene finished her studies in Finance/Economics at Daniel Sampaio High school. Before joining ynvisible, she had several years of experience in the finance/administrative department of different corporations, having worked in the pharmaceutical and technology industries. She currently works as an office manager at ynvisible.
